Luna Family Funeral Home, located in the heart of Arlington, Texas, was established to provide exceptional, compassionate care to families during their most tender and difficult moments. Founded by Lillyanna Ime Barrientos, a licensed funeral director in the state of Texas, the funeral home represents a personal and professional calling rooted in service, faith, and family legacy.
Lillyanna began her career in funeral service in 2017 and is a graduate of Sam Houston High School of 2016 and Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science and Arts degree on September 27, 2019. As a first-generation business owner, woman owned, and funeral home operator, she brings a rare blend of professional expertise, personal integrity, and unwavering dedication to every family she serves. Lillyanna also built the funeral home floor plan from ground zero to fit the needs of the people.
Luna Family Funeral Home was named in honor of her late mother, Maria Anna Luna Barrientos, whose compassion, generosity, and love for others serve as the guiding principles of this establishment. The funeral home’s foundation is built on her legacy—a legacy of listening, understanding, serving with dignity and heart and a bonus mama to everyone.
We are proud to be a bilingual funeral home, offering services in both English and Spanish, and we are actively training our staff in American Sign Language, one of many languages on the list, to ensure inclusivity and access for all. Our facility is staffed with licensed, and experienced professionals who uphold the highest standards of care and compliance. Families are welcomed into an environment defined by warmth, empathy, and professionalism from the moment they walk through our doors.
